A Jehovah's Witness Schoolgirl Who Disappeared in Durban, South Africa, over 30 years ago

hi,

I am banned on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and all other Meta products.

my brother Peter and I were forced by the apartheid military to become Jehovah's Witnesses after we refused conscription military service, as inactive Catholics. he spent 3 years in a military detention camp as a JW. and I served 3 years of community service.

Peter moved up to Krugersdorp to live and work as a full-time volunteer at the Watchtower Society Branch Office, sometime after Independence in 1994. whilst working there, he went into Soweto with someone possibly from the Branch Office, during which visit that person may have been attacked and stabbed in Soweto. as a result, my brother was incarcerated in Sterkfontein and Townhill Psychiatric Hospitals, and tortured by the SA Police and SA Health Services.

A few years after this incident happened in Soweto, I received a promotion to train and work as a computer programmer at the Office of the Premier KwaZulu-Natal, Finance Department, IT Section, in Pietermaritzburg. the Director was Mr.Dudley Stevenson, and I was working with a project manager, Mrs.Dalene McIlvenny, who was a JW. my brother passed away in Durban as a JW, that same month, 5 days before Christmas on 20 Dec 1997, aged 38 years, in what police told us was a car crash with a truck. my brother and parents were living at the old house my dad Luciano built in Durban, in the 1960's, at 13 Ypsilanti ave, Glenashley, when he died (next door to the Klebe's, at No.15)

I was fired by my employer, the Office of the Premier KwaZulu-Natal, without any reason provided, and lost my pension, 3 years after my brother died. and I left the JW religion, and moved back to live with my parents in Glenashley. A few years later i renounced SA citizenship.

I have no income, no mobile phone. Logged off internet and my computer on 18 June 2025, until I can find a way to survive, pay for living expenses, including : accommodation, food, medical aid, transport, household items, a computer, internet etc.

Marco

PS : if you are looking for a missing schoolgirl, the JW daughter of Mike Stokes' wife Charmaine's sister. then I do not have much information. only that the Stokes used to attend Morningside Congregation of JW's with me, in Montpellier Rd, Durban. Mike's children were named Naman, Shane and Carmen, and his missing niece may have been going to Pinetown or Queensburgh Girls High school, when she disappeared over 30 years ago. if you would like to contact the Stokes' for further information, here are Mikes LinkedIn pages that I found a few years ago. unfortunately, I disassociated and was disfellowshipped (excommunicated) from the JW's, 3 years after my brother died, and am no longer able to speak or even greet people I knew in the JW religion, due to their strict shunning regulations.
